How The Empirical Algorithm Works

Fixed Base
Every vehicle starts at ₦1,000,000 — covering terminal handling, shipping line release fees, and the agent's base cut regardless of vehicle value.

Age Penalty
Vehicles 15 years or older attract an additional ₦1,000,000 due to mandatory SON inspection, older VIN cross-checks, and increased customs scrutiny time.

CIF Multiplier
We multiply your CIF value by an empirically-derived NGN/USD rate. Higher-value vehicles and SUVs face higher multipliers reflecting customs "assessment uplift" at port.
